Types of leaves we use

• We use a special type of cinnamon tree native to Orchid Island in Taiwan, known as Cinnamomum kotoense. Its narrow, elongated leaves are ideal for engraving vertical images and designs. Once dried, the leaves can be beautifully framed or used as unique, nature-inspired bookmarks.
• The cinnamon leaves we work with are sustainably harvested from trees grown in tropical regions of Asia. After careful drying and preparation, they become the perfect canvas for delicate leaf engravings.
